The TF Business Network is a unique initiative born from the passion and camaraderie of the Team Flip Cycling Group. What started as a shared love for cycling has evolved into a powerful network of professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners united by a common goal: to support and uplift one another in our professional journeys.

Team Flip started with just three cyclists, riding the Spes Bona loop on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Slowly but surely, more friends who shared a love for cycling joined the group.
The first official Christmas Ride took place with around 28 cyclists – a fun way to wrap up the year.
In preparation for the Trans Baviaans, night rides were introduced to help Team Flip members train and get comfortable cycling in the dark.
Since COVID, the group has seen significant growth, with an average of 150 new cyclists joining each year.
The first official Team Flip: Around the Castle ride took place. Well-organised and memorable, it’s now a popular annual event on the calendar.
We added the Occultdale loop as an option for those looking for a longer ride. To enhance safety and support, we also introduced an official backup system—one of our members volunteers to follow behind the group by car, ready to assist with any mechanical issues or emergencies.
We started ‘Manne wat Glo’ – a small group of men meeting on Friday mornings to share experiences, encourage one another, and stay motivated.
While we ride together to build strong relationships and grow professionally, Team Flip is much more than just a social cycling group. We’re deeply committed to making a meaningful difference—not only within our local community but also among fellow cyclists. Our shared passion for cycling drives us to support community initiatives, raise awareness for important causes, and lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed. Giving back isn’t just a value we hold; it’s an essential part of our journey. Through every ride and every connection, we strive to create a positive impact that goes beyond the road, strengthening bonds and inspiring others both on and off the bike.
Being part of this network has helped get more feet into our dealership. Members support each other, and I’ve made a few solid sales thanks to word-of-mouth from the group.
